Overview
The role leads the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Atlassian's Customer Managed Keys and encryption platform across the Cloud. It bridges product, engineering, security, and go‑to‑market teams to deliver enterprise‑grade trust capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision and roadmap for CMK and encryption platform capabilities.
- Clarify product scope and platform boundaries to enable clear accountability across teams.
- Drive roadmap decisions balancing customer commitments, enterprise needs, architecture constraints, and commercial priorities.
- Partner with engineering and security leaders on architecture, delivery sequencing, and operational readiness.
- Represent the product area in executive, cross‑functional, and customer settings, aligning on goals and success metrics.
Eligibility
- Significant product management experience leading complex platform or enterprise products
- Deep expertise in encryption, key management, and cloud security
- Strong ability to collaborate with engineering, security, legal, compliance, sales, and executive stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to simplify technical complexity
