Overview

The Product Design & Development Process Quality Engineer ensures quality and compliance across the automotive product design and development lifecycle, managing processes, audits, risk, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and improve product design and development processes
• Conduct process audits and identify gaps across engineering functions
• Implement and maintain QMS in line with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and CMMI
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma process improvements and lead CAPA activities
• Coordinate design reviews, gate clearances and collaborate with cross‑functional teams

Eligibility

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Production or Automotive Engineering
• 5–10 years of experience in product design and development quality
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, CMMI; ASQ CQE or CMMI certification advantageous
