Product Manager III

Overview

The role is a Product Manager III on Expedia Group's Insurtech team, responsible for defining strategy and roadmap for core protection products across Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. It involves leading cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven, AI‑enhanced solutions in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategy and roadmap for a core Insurtech area (e.g., embedded protection attach) aligning with revenue and traveler NPS goals
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements, user stories, and drive delivery with engineering, design, data science, legal/compliance, and partners
• Use data and experimentation to prioritize backlog, design compliant A/B tests, and balance conversion, unit economics, and traveler trust
• Deliver end‑to‑end solutions from discovery through launch across brands and regulated markets, ensuring operational excellence
• Drive platform thinking across Insurtech and adjacent teams and apply AI/ML for personalized recommendations, dynamic pricing, and agent‑assist while maintaining regulatory compliance

Eligibility

• 4+ years of product management experience in technology‑focused organizations
• Experience delivering consumer‑facing products using data, experimentation, and AI/ML concepts
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, analytical, business or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
