Google is hiring an Interaction Designer for the Maps Strategic Markets UX team to lead the design of transit experiences in emerging markets, turning complex tasks into intuitive products for billions of users.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements and provide creative solutions.
- Communicate the user experience through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high‑fidelity prototypes.
- Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product updates.
- Advocate for design‑centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
- Lead and own key parts of the product's user experience for Transit Growth in Emerging Markets.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of interaction/UX design experience with a portfolio
- Experience designing for conversational AI and emerging markets
- Proven ability to independently lead design projects
