Data Product Manager & Quality Specialist (Senior)

Overview

The Senior Data Product Manager & Quality Specialist ensures data products are reliable, accessible, and fit for mission‑critical use, acting as the quality and testing authority while supporting data mesh adoption. This remote role involves testing, documentation, and bridging engineering teams with data consumers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines, APIs, and data products to verify accuracy and compliance
• Perform functional testing from the data consumer perspective to ensure discoverability and accessibility
• Serve as the primary quality assurance authority, linking technical engineering teams with mission users
• Create, maintain, and improve user‑facing documentation, tutorials, and getting‑started guides
• Gather feedback from early adopters and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement

Eligibility

• Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience with a Master’s degree or equivalent
• Strong expertise in API testing tools (e.g., Postman), data catalog interfaces (e.g., ACDC), SQL and Python for data validation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance and eligibility for TS/SCI
