Senior Product Owner / Product Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Product Owner/Product Manager will lead the end‑to‑end development of a new cloud‑based application for a U.S. public‑sector client, owning the backlog, discovery, roadmap, and delivery in a fully remote, startup‑mindset team.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog, write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and set priorities.
• Conduct product discovery and validation by engaging directly with users and stakeholders.
• Collaborate daily with engineers and UX designers to turn concepts into working features and accept completed work.
• Shape product vision, roadmap, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with user needs and strategic objectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including Scrum and SAFe PI planning, to drive effective team collaboration.

Eligibility

• Proven ownership of at least one software product from idea through launch (evidence required).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software product management or product ownership, preferably in a startup or early‑stage environment.
• U.S. citizenship or green‑card holder; must remain located in the United States for the duration of the engagement.
