Senior Designer I

Overview

The role focuses on building and scaling a design system by creating a production‑ready Figma component library and a React component library, while integrating AI‑assisted workflows to ensure brand compliance and accessibility. You will collaborate across the firm to drive adoption, automate validation, and shape the product roadmap based on data and user feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the MDS 2.0 Figma component library with variants, auto‑layout and design tokens
• Lead the engineering of the MDS‑themed React component library ensuring visual fidelity and accessibility
• Create and document LLM‑assisted workflows, including React code generation and Figma‑to‑code handoffs
• Develop automated validation tools such as lint rules and audits to enforce brand and usability standards
• Run internal pilot programs, gather user feedback, and iterate on system assets to drive firm‑wide adoption

Eligibility

• 5+ years of product design experience with a focus on design systems
• Proven experience building production Figma libraries and translating design tokens to code
• Hands‑on use of LLM coding agents (e.g., Claude, Copilot, Cursor) and ability to author constraints
