Job Description
Overview
The Senior UX Designer will partner with product managers, engineers, data scientists and researchers to create next‑generation public safety applications using a human‑centered, design‑led process. This role emphasizes delivering high‑quality, pixel‑perfect designs while driving discovery, prototyping, and strategic vision across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities
- Deliver pixel‑perfect designs in collaboration with developers and product managers, grounded in UX research
- Plan and lead customer discovery sessions to uncover unmet needs and generate actionable insights
- Rapidly create and iterate prototypes using AI‑enhanced tools based on feedback from users and stakeholders
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and research teams to ensure solutions are feasible, valuable, and ethically responsible
- Present design concepts and strategic rationale clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
Eligibility
- Expertise in user‑centered design, HCI, or related human‑factors domains
- 6+ years of product/UX/service design experience, including leading workshops and design sprints
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Design, Psychology, Computer Science (AI/HCI focus) or equivalent practical experience
