Senior UI Designer

Overview

Optum seeks an experienced UX/UI Designer to support the enterprise digital product team, creating and maintaining high‑quality web experiences across Optum sites. The role involves designing UI components, optimizing imagery, and collaborating with cross‑functional global teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide UI design support for optum.com and other Optum digital properties.
• Create UI components, visual design elements, and maintain the design system.
• Prepare and optimize digital imagery for web experiences.
• Partner with product, engineering, and content teams to deliver cohesive design solutions.
• Mentor junior designers and lead design critiques to ensure quality and consistency.

Eligibility

• Expertise in UX/UI, interaction and visual design for digital healthcare products.
• 7+ years of hands‑on design experience working with multiple teams and incorporating user feedback.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
