UX Design Architect

Overview

Senior UX/UI Designer at Optum leading complex design initiatives for data‑rich digital products and member experiences. The role combines hands‑on design, design system leadership, AI‑enabled workflows, and mentorship to drive measurable user and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end UX/UI design for complex digital products, covering discovery, interaction design, visual design, prototyping and implementation review
• Create intuitive, data‑rich dashboards and analytics experiences that help users interpret complex information
• Develop and evolve scalable design systems in Figma, including reusable components, design tokens and documentation
• Apply AI‑enabled tools and automated workflows to accelerate research, ideation, wireframing and documentation while ensuring privacy and quality
• Mentor designers and collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders to deliver measurable user and business outcomes

Eligibility

• 8+ years of professional UX/UI or product design experience with a strong portfolio
• Bachelor's degree in design or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑enabled design tools, data visualization, enterprise SaaS products, and WCAG‑aligned accessibility
