Founding Designer (3-5 Years, 80L)

Overview

We are seeking a founding Product Designer to be the first dedicated design hire, shaping AI‑driven video creation experiences from concept to shipped product. This hands‑on role works directly with the co‑founders in a fast‑moving YC‑backed startup.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product design from early exploration to shipped features
• Design controllable AI video creation workflows and interaction systems
• Define editable motion‑graphics interfaces and style‑control tools
• Establish visual language, design foundations and a scalable design system
• Ship weekly prototypes, test ideas, and iterate rapidly with engineering

Eligibility

• Proven experience taking a digital product from zero to one as a hands‑on product designer
• Strong interaction design skills for complex, AI‑driven workflows
• Portfolio demonstrating personal ownership of design decisions and shipped outcomes
• Ability to work directly with founders and engineers in a small, fast‑moving team
• No specific educational requirement, though a design‑related degree is a plus
