Product Designer (Fintech, 30L)

Overview

Design Lead role at a $4.2M seed‑funded fintech startup, tasked with building a design system and shaping the user experience for a suite of trading tools and AI‑driven features.

Responsibilities

• Build a comprehensive design system from scratch, defining components, tokens, themes and interaction patterns.
• Design end‑to‑end experiences for 10+ trading tools including screeners, charts, option chains and strategy builders.
• Create a unified trading experience across product pods and ensure consistency with the design language.
• Simplify complex financial data and define AI interaction patterns for natural‑language queries and AI assistance.
• Lead UX research with retail traders, conduct usability tests and translate findings into product decisions.

Eligibility

• Strong experience designing B2C consumer fintech or trading products at scale.
• Hands‑on experience building or contributing to design systems and conducting UX research.
• Portfolio showcasing complex dashboards, data tables, charts and multi‑state flows; no specific education requirement.
