Overview
The role is a Vice President level UX Designer at Barclays in Bangalore, responsible for setting strategic direction and managing product development UX across the bank. You will lead design initiatives, ensure compliance, and drive innovation in digital banking experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead conceptualization, design, and implementation of user‑centric digital banking products, aligning with customer needs and business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and analysts to translate requirements into compelling UX and advocate design principles.
- Create interactive prototypes, wireframes and conduct user research, usability testing and data analysis to iterate solutions.
- Develop and enforce UX policies, procedures and risk‑management frameworks, ensuring compliance and governance.
- Manage and mentor the UX team, set objectives, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement across the department.
Eligibility
- Expertise in UX/UI design for fintech or digital banking platforms
- Proven experience leading large‑scale UX initiatives and managing cross‑functional teams at senior/VP level
- Typically a bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science or related field (advanced degree a plus)
