Okta is seeking a Staff Product Designer to lead UX strategy and execution for its Research & Development unit, shaping secure, unified identity solutions across enterprise products. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and mentor while advancing AI‑enhanced design processes.

Responsibilities
- Lead holistic, human‑centered design strategy and oversee UX execution for the ORD business unit
- Conduct co‑creation workshops with product, engineering, and design to define and prioritize user problems
- Create user‑centered artifacts, end‑to‑end journeys, and design systems ensuring consistency across Okta’s portfolio
- Mentor junior designers, advocate design thinking, and define frameworks, contracts, and standards for UX delivery
- Partner with user researchers and leverage AI‑powered design tools to gather insights, prototype, and iterate on solutions
Eligibility
- Domain expertise in identity management and enterprise B2B product design
- 8+ years of product/UX design experience, leadership of cross‑disciplinary teams, and use of AI‑enhanced design tools
- Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
