Overview
The role is a UX Designer within MathWorks’ User Experience team, focusing on radar, phased‑array and sensor‑fusion software products. The designer will lead end‑to‑end design activities, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and integrate AI‑augmented workflows.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and marketing teams to design consistent UI for radar, phased‑array and sensor‑fusion products
- Conduct user‑centered research, create wireframes, prototypes and conduct usability testing to validate designs
- Design intuitive experiences for AI tools, ensuring trust, transparency and appropriate human control
- Promote design standards, accessibility and usability across engineering teams
- Research and showcase industry trends across mobile, desktop and web platforms
Eligibility
- STEM background (e.g., Electronics & Communication, Aerospace, HCI) with a bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience (or master’s with 3 years, or PhD)
- Proven software/web UI design experience with a portfolio demonstrating technical product work
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and translate them into UI, including knowledge of generative AI and human‑AI interaction
