Design an AI-first travel companion experience within the Ixigo app that goes beyond search and booking and one that thinks, adapts, and acts for the traveller
Ixigo serves 540 million+ annual active users. For them, travel planning isn't just about picking the cheapest ticket. It's about navigating confusion, language barriers, last-minute changes, and the anxiety of the unknown. They recently expanded their partnership with OpenAI to leverage their Enterprise AI platform to roll out next generation of tools for their business lines. Design a contextual AI companion layer within the Ixigo app or website that weaves AI meaningfully across at least 2–3 use cases in a travel category of your choice: Flight, Buses, Hotels or Trains. From intent to post-trip, make the experience feel less like a booking engine and more like a trusted travel buddy. Some examples of use-cases (you may pick any other use-cases too) * Search flow * Booking & Payment * In-journey information For each usecase you choose, show a prototype + design of the user flow, with short explanations where necessary, alongwith solid primary user research You can submit your work as a pdf, deck and/or Figma file comprising of these usecases, or even as a working site/project References and Links: * [Ixigo Android Mobile App](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ixigo) * [Ixigo iOS Mobile App](https://apps.apple.com/in/app/ixigo-flight-hotel-booking/id418128294) * [Ixigo Website](https://www.ixigo.com/) * [Ixigo and OpenAI partnership](https://travel.economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/travel-agents/outbound/ixigo-partners-with-openai-to-revolutionize-travel-industry-with-advanced-ai-technologies/128497948) Evaluation criteria: * Integration of suggestions into existing product * Practicality and benefits to users, of the solution/s * Primary user research * Design, interactions and prototyping quality Note: You are not allowed to make any changes in the submission files/links post the deadline.
