One of the challenges often faced by startups is how to attract good talent to apply to their job posts. The competition is always high on popular job posting platforms be it LinkedIn, AngelList or others. Obviously, one way to attract talent is through well articulated job description and payscale. Though these are more platform agnostic.
So that's where what AngelList has done with showing of useful tags is quite commendable.
As a candidate, when I see tags such as shown in the given image 'Covid verified hiring', 'Recently funded', 'Same investor as Airbnb' - it automatically gives more credibility to the said company. Contextual and important points which otherwise a candidate would not know unless she takes effort to go through the details.
