Context: Simplify communication and design for micro donations
A lot of local initiatives across India have come forward to feed the poor and hungry. Traditionally, these initiatives would rely on pamphlets and leaflets that are distributed in the local community to get donations.
However, due to the lockdown, it is not possible to get such physical pamphlets across and hence Whatsapp and Social Media is used by sending banners.
And this is where you can help with your skill sets.
In this challenge you can support one such initiative, either of your choice or from those we have identified and help improve their banner and messaging to attract donations.
Steps you need to follow:
- Get the important details from an existing banner you want to improve
- Create a new banner using these details, while applying your skills to simplify communication and build trust
- Couple this banner with a call to action message that can be shared along with the banner on Whatsapp or social media
You will be evaluated on the quality and simplicity of your output.
Output:
- Banner (image in .png or .jpg)
- Call to action message (text)
Format: We recommend you use Canva as it is the easiest tool for such an exercise
Note:
- For those opting for Feedback, the entire amount collected will be donated to one of the initiatives from UXHack, and you will also get feedback on your submission
