Overview
Appian seeks a Product Manager in Chennai to lead the re‑architecture of legacy subsystems into modern, API‑first components, driving roadmap, reliability and performance. The role blends technical depth with strategic product ownership and close collaboration with engineering and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering to deconstruct subsystems and define scalable, robust APIs
- Conduct comparative and trade‑off analyses to align architecture with industry standards
- Use the Impact‑Metrics‑Plans framework to ensure strategic alignment and track feature adoption
- Manage backlog, write detailed specifications, and oversee feature lifecycle from design to go‑to‑market
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Chennai and the US to assess impact and drive continuous improvement
Eligibility
- Product management experience in a technical/platform domain
- 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with API design and system modernization
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
