Job Description
Overview
The role is a Software Engineer/Product Owner within Applied Materials' Process Diagnostics and Control group, focusing on defining and delivering AI‑enabled LINK data products for semiconductor equipment. You will bridge customers, field teams, and internal R&D to drive product strategy, development, and field deployment.

Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize product backlog and roadmap for LINK data and AI‑enabled solutions
- Collaborate with architects, software engineers, QA, and algorithm teams to deliver features with clear, testable requirements
- Act as escalation point for strategic customer needs, support beta programs, early adopters, and key field deployments
- Lead cross‑functional alignment with Product Management, R&D, QA, Algorithms, Marketing, and Tool teams through reviews and design discussions
- Develop software documentation, test procedures, and drive continuous improvement of semiconductor process diagnostics
Eligibility
- Domain expertise in semiconductor process and defectivity, CAD and design‑based inspection concepts
- 9+ years of relevant experience, including hands‑on semiconductor process work and AI/ML tool usage
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, VLSI or related field
