Product Manager - Clinical Data Science & GenAI

Overview

The role is a Product Manager leading the Clinical Data Science product area for athenahealth's AI‑native Electronic Health Record, focusing on machine learning, generative AI and evaluation capabilities. It is based in Bangalore (hybrid) and reports to the Product Management Director.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, business cases and roadmap for the Clinical Data Science product area
• Serve as Product Owner for Scrum teams, creating epics, user stories and prioritising the backlog
• Establish the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle and measure customer and business outcomes
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Patient Safety, Legal and business leaders to ensure safety, regulatory and operational alignment
• Drive AI evaluation, responsible AI practices and coach teams on governance and observability

Eligibility

• Domain expertise in healthcare technology and AI/ML product management
• Minimum 8+ years of product management experience; hands‑on experience with large language models, AI evaluation platforms and responsible AI in regulated environments
• Bachelor’s degree required; preferred degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business or related field
