Product Manager, Principal

Overview

Principal Product Manager, Data Platform at Blackbaud leads the platform and technical foundations for data and machine learning transformation, driving customer outcomes, automation, and developer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Drive product initiatives from ideation through validation, delivery, and delight, leading cross‑functional teams.
• Lead adoption of the data mesh framework and shape platform capabilities for data pipelines, ML workflows, and MLOps.
• Partner with engineering, design, program management, and other stakeholders to execute product strategy and prioritize backlogs.
• Communicate and build rapport with stakeholders across vertical market groups, Centers of Excellence, and engineering teams.
• Create solutions that balance business goals with customer needs while improving product margins.

Eligibility

• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in data or platform domains.
• Prior experience in engineering, data engineering, platform architecture, or technical product management supporting internal teams.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
