User Experience Designer with CAD Experience

Overview

Design user interfaces and experiences for SOLIDWORKS CAD products, collaborating with stakeholders and leading UX activities. Requires a strong CAD background and 3-5 years of UX design experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in research, planning and design functionality for SolidWorks products.
• Create wireframes, UI concept mockups, and low to high fidelity prototypes.
• Write UI specifications and conduct usability tests and user research.
• Lead team critique and design review sessions while mentoring junior members.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to quickly identify and resolve UX problems.

Eligibility

• BE or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and/or Interaction/Product Design
• 3-5 years of UX Designer experience with a portfolio of design work
• Experience with SOLIDWORKS or other 3D CAD software
