Technical Product Owner: Web Platforms

Overview

Virtusa seeks a Technical Product Owner to lead a high‑visibility web engineering team, bridging technical strategy with agile execution for Sitecore CMS and enterprise applications. The role involves sprint planning, code quality governance, CI/CD management, and post‑deployment support.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product backlog, author detailed technical user stories, and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies
• Partner with the Chief Architect to enforce coding standards, conduct peer code reviews, and manage technical debt across Sitecore and web builds
• Drive release management and oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins to ensure low‑risk production deployments
• Serve as the primary escalation point for post‑deployment support, leading issue triage, root‑cause analysis, and site reliability activities
• Manage daily technical operations, remove roadblocks, clarify requirements, and ensure on‑time delivery of technical commitments

Eligibility

• Strong full‑stack development expertise with Sitecore/AdobeXP, C#/.NET, and modern front‑end frameworks such as React/Next.js
• 7+ years of web development experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Product Owner, Tech Lead, or Agile Delivery Lead role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
