Lead UI/UX Designer

Overview

The UX Lead will define and own UX/UI standards for Ecolab’s ServiceNow platform, building a design system and driving consumer‑grade experiences while leading a team of designers and developers.

Responsibilities

• Define, document, and enforce UX/UI standards and a design system across all ServiceNow teams
• Design and build experiences in UI Builder, Now Experience Framework, and React, ensuring implementation matches design
• Establish and run user research, usability testing, and accessibility practices to inform decisions
• Lead and grow a UX practice, hiring and mentoring designers and developers and setting front‑end engineering standards
• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to measure adoption and advocate for experience excellence

Eligibility

• 8+ years of UX/UI design experience with hands‑on leadership (player‑coach) roles
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow native UX tools (UI Builder, Now Experience Framework) and front‑end development (React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
• Proven track record building and scaling design systems and establishing UX standards
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive‑level influence
• Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design/prototyping tools
