Overview
Elastic is seeking a UX & Front End Engineer to design and build AI‑driven user interfaces for internal products, leveraging the Elastic Stack and generative AI technologies. The role focuses on creating responsive, accessible front‑end components and interaction patterns that enable enterprise users to work efficiently with AI.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive front‑end interfaces for generative and agentic AI workflows
- Build and maintain scalable, accessible UI component libraries using React and TypeScript
- Optimize performance for real‑time AI streaming, token latency, and async state management
- Integrate front‑end applications with internal services such as ESRE, RAG endpoints, and agent orchestration APIs
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and AI backend engineers while ensuring adherence to Elastic’s design system and accessibility standards
Eligibility
- Expertise in front‑end development with React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS
- Experience building AI/GenAI user interfaces, including conversational and prompt workflows
- No specific degree required; proven relevant experience is sufficient
