Overview

Rippling is hiring a Product Design Lead for Tasks & Notifications to define the design vision for inbox, notifications, and the Sandbox testing environment, ensuring users receive relevant information at the right time. The role partners closely with product, engineering, and cross‑functional teams and leverages AI throughout the design process.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the design vision for Inbox and Notifications across in‑product, mobile, email, and other surfaces.
• Create design systems that handle high volumes of tasks, alerts, and approvals while considering prioritization, permissions, and deadlines.
• Establish principles, interaction patterns, quality standards, and governance for consistent notification experiences.
• Lead end‑to‑end design for the Sandbox environment, enabling IT administrators to safely test configurations.
• Use AI tools throughout research, synthesis, prototyping, and intelligent product experience development.

Eligibility

• 8+ years of end‑to‑end product design experience shipping complex SaaS/enterprise products.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking and ability to simplify ambiguous problem spaces.
• Experience designing platforms with multiple personas, permissions, and workflow dependencies.
• Active use of LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) in the design workflow.
