Product Manager

Overview

The Product Manager will drive competitiveness and regional product strategy for Power Transformers within Hitachi Energy's APMEA hub, collaborating across engineering, supply chain, marketing, and global teams. The role involves market analysis, design optimization, and roadmap implementation to enhance product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement regional product roadmap initiatives aligned with market demand across HUB APMEA.
• Support the Regional Product Manager with market requirement studies, business cases for R&D and DtV projects, and validation of savings.
• Lead design reviews, benchmarking, and cost‑optimization of transformer designs to improve competitiveness.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (Engineering, SCM, Marketing & Sales, Production, Finance) across five PT factories and collaborate with Global Product Managers and TopGun designers.
• Develop training programs, ensure compliance with internal and external policies, and monitor project progress and performance.

Eligibility

• Expertise in power transformer design and manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the power transformer industry, with product and competitive analysis skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (master’s degree preferred).
