Principal Engineer, UI/UX Designer

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer – UI/UX Design to lead the creation of intuitive, scalable, and user-centered product experiences. The role involves partnering with stakeholders to translate complex business problems into effective design solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and executive stakeholders to advocate for user-centric solutions aligned with business goals
• Apply design thinking processes to influence product roadmaps, support executive-level decisions, and develop strong design solutions
• Lead high-level user research and usability testing
• Translate ambiguous, high-level business problems into intuitive, structured, and scalable design solutions
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication Design, Interaction Design, or an equivalent discipline
• 15+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
