Staff Engineer - UI/UX Design

Overview

The role involves leading UI/UX design initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams to create user‑centric, scalable solutions and mentoring junior designers.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with Divisional Designers, Product Managers, Engineering Leads, and executive stakeholders to advocate for user‑centric solutions
• Translate ambiguous, high‑level business problems into intuitive, structured, and scalable design solutions
• Produce high‑quality deliverables such as flow diagrams, wireframes, graphic designs, storyboards, and site maps
• Develop and maintain reusable design systems and component libraries to ensure visual and functional consistency
• Mentor junior and mid‑level designers while championing a strong UX culture

Eligibility

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communication Design, Interaction Design or equivalent
• 7‑10 years of professional experience in UI/UX design
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
• Experience in medical device front‑end development is a plus
