Senior UX or CX Designer

Overview

The Senior Product Designer will lead end-to-end design of complex web and mobile experiences for Optum’s Enterprise Digital Product Office, driving discovery, collaboration, and design system evolution. The role balances strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to improve health outcomes globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design of complex product initiatives from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate discovery activities such as stakeholder workshops, journey mapping, and concept exploration to inform product direction.
• Translate user research, analytics, and business insights into design strategies and high‑fidelity prototypes.
• Champion user‑centered, accessible, and inclusive design while contributing to and evolving the design system.
• Mentor fellow designers and collaborate closely with engineering to ensure high‑quality implementation.

Eligibility

• Deep expertise in user experience, interaction design, information architecture, and accessibility for enterprise digital products.
• 7+ years designing web and mobile applications, leading discovery activities, and working in Agile product development environments.
