Senior UX/CX Designer

Overview

The role is a senior UX Designer lead responsible for end‑to‑end design of complex digital health products at Optum, driving user‑centered experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design of complex product initiatives from discovery through delivery and continuous improvement
• Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers and stakeholders to define problems and create user‑centered solutions
• Facilitate discovery activities such as workshops, journey mapping and concept exploration
• Create and communicate design artifacts including user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, prototypes and design system contributions
• Mentor other designers and champion accessibility, inclusive design and AI‑enabled workflow enhancements

Eligibility

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years designing digital products for web and mobile applications
• Proven experience leading discovery activities and collaborating with cross‑functional Agile teams
