Senior Product UX Designer (Automation and AI)

Overview

Hyland is seeking a Senior Product UX Designer specializing in Automation and AI to shape how customers harness intelligent agents, AI-driven document processing, and automated workflows. The designer will design experiences that turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into approachable, powerful tools. The role is remote and supports collaboration with European and Indian colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product and engineering teams to build alignment and make smart tradeoffs
• Design scalable systems, including patterns, workflows, and interaction models
• Test and iterate by pairing with researchers to translate user insights and customer needs
• Drive accessibility as a first-class requirement and ensure experiences meet WCAG 2.2 AA standards
• Enable delivery with strong specs and provide annotated design specifications

Eligibility

• 8+ years of proven product design experience delivering complex enterprise software
• Proven delivery of products meeting WCAG 2.2 AA success criteria
• Design system fluency with experience applying and extending a component system
